About us
The Southcenter Rotary was chartered August 28, 1968 by the Renton Club,
and we are part of District 5030 which comprises the Greater Seattle
area. We chartered the Tukwila Morning club in 1989. We
are a growing club of about 55 to 60 members. Most of us work
in the Southcenter area, while only about 25% of our members live in
the club's service area.
Rotary is an organization of business and professional persons united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build good will and peace in the world.
The Rotary Club of Southcenter is dedicated to creating a sense of community by touching individuals one at a time. We keep our members by making that process enjoyable and the aims worthy of the effort.
We are a club that likes to have fun. We value that our meeting wrap up on time and we want programs that inform us about efforts that are happening within the Southcenter (Tukwila) community as well as international efforts.
